MobileScout Terms of Service

1. Personal, Non-Exclusive License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Trivela AS grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the MobileScout Web PWA and run the Windows Tray Companion (MobileScoutCompanion.exe) on your personal computers solely for your private, non-commercial entertainment and tactical scouting purposes.

You may not lease, rent, redistribute, reverse-engineer for commercial exploitation, or operate a commercial scouting bureau service powered by MobileScout without prior written consent from Trivela AS.

2. Unofficial Fan-Utility & Trademark Disclaimers

Intellectual Property & Visual Assets: MobileScout does not distribute, host, or display any copyrighted club badges, official league emblems, tournament logos, or FIFPRO player portrait headshots. All visual tactical markers, role stars, and screen layouts are proprietary visual designs of Trivela AS or derived strictly from user-configured local saves.

3. Out-of-Process Read-Only Architecture & Patch-Day Compatibility

MobileScout operates through a strict read-only, out-of-process architecture:

• Zero File Modding: The companion executable reads virtual process memory from the running fm.exe process via Windows APIs in user mode. It never writes to memory, injects dynamic link libraries (DLLs), modifies executable binaries, or alters local Steam savegame files (.fm).
• Non-Cheat Fair Play: MobileScout does not permit editing in-game attributes, budgets, player morale, or fixture results. It functions exclusively as a tactical recruitment screener and second-screen dashboard.
• Patch-Day Compatibility Disclaimer: When Sports Interactive or SEGA releases updates, hotfixes, or patches to Football Manager™ on Steam or the Epic Games Store, memory offsets inevitably shift. Trivela AS maintains dynamic offsets.json manifests hosted remotely to hotfix changes without requiring companion reinstallation. While we commit best efforts to release updated offset manifests within hours of game updates, Trivela AS cannot warrant uninterrupted operation on day-of-patch releases.

4. Pricing, Entitlements & Subscription Terms

MobileScout operates on a transparent, credit-and-subscription freemium pricing structure:

5. Acceptable Use & Platform Integrity

You agree not to engage in any prohibited activity, including:

• Automated scraping or denial-of-service queries targeting MobileScout cloud relay servers or APIs.
• Abuse or flooding of 6-digit email OTP authentication codes.
• Sharing paid account credentials or tokens across unauthorized third parties to circumvent quotas.
• Attempting to inject malicious code or bypass Supabase Row-Level Security tenant partition boundaries.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual disputes arising out of or related to your use of MobileScout shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding shall be instituted exclusively in the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett), Norway, without prejudice to consumer mandatory statutory rights under the laws of your EU member state of residence.
